Everton fans react as Everton receive zero offers for Niasse and Martina

Several Everton fans have reacted to The Liverpool Echo’s report that the Toffees have received zero offers for Cuco Martina or Oumar Niasse this month.

The report claims that while Everton are actively looking to offload the duo this month, neither player has been the subject of a firm offer from an interested club.

Football Insider had previously reported that Niasse had rejected two Championship loan offers this month, while a separate report claimed that Nottingham Forest had a loan offer accepted by Everton, only to have it turned down by Niasse.

The Liverpool Echo’s story contradicts that however, claiming that any ‘offers’ have been nothing more than tentative enquiries, with the club yet to receive anything concrete for the duo who have both been deemed surplus to requirements on Merseyside.

Martina hasn’t made a single first team appearance this season, being named on the bench just once against Manchester United in December (Transfermarkt). Niasse meanwhile has made three appearances, one coming under Duncan Ferguson against United and the other two under Carlo Ancelotti in recent weeks, due to Richarlison’s short-term injury.

With Everton not having fielded an offer for the pair yet and with just seven days remaining of the transfer window, a number of Everton supporters have jumped onto social media to share their thoughts on the matter.
