Everton fans react as Kean is substituted straight after coming on

Moise Kean was substituted soon after coming on at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, as Everton battled their way to a 1-1 draw.

The Blues earned a deserved point at Old Trafford, with Victor Lindelof’s own goal cancelled out by a Mason Greenwood strike.

One of the games biggest talking points came late in the second half, however, as Kean was replaced shortly after being introduced.

The 19-year-old didn’t even look at manager Duncan Ferguson when he was brought off, walking straight down the tunnel.

These fans have been reacting to Ferguson’s decision on Twitter.

This was a bold move by Ferguson, upsetting one of the most exciting young players at the club.

It is clear that the striker didn’t do what was asked of him, however, and the boss has shown a ruthless side to his management.

There is sure to be more fallout from the incident, with opinions mixed, but it made for a dramatic end to proceedings at Old Trafford.

matchday.
