Marco Silva’s future as Everton manager has been the prime source of public discussion around the club this past week and it’ll likely continue for some time yet.
Many fans are ready for Farhad Moshiri to swing the axe and look for a successor, following four consecutive Premier League defeats to Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Manchester City and Burnley.
While the amount of fans still showing support for Silva are rapidly decreasing, as far as the impression on social media goes, it looks as if Silva will be given the West Ham game following the international break.

As reported by The Times, Silva admits that spoken to Moshiri about his future, and he understands that the game against the Hammers is a ‘must-win’.
For some fans though, this news wasn’t acceptable, with many taking to social media to express their thoughts on the matter.

For me personally, the one sticking point behind sacking Silva has been finding a replacement. I genuinely don’t know who the club could expect to target, and for those who are calling for Jose Mourinho, I cannot see him coming to Everton.
If Moshiri has any sense, he will spent the next two weeks identifying and making initial contact with prospective targets. Plenty of clubs have sacked their manager with a replacement all set to go, so if Moshiri could make initial contact, then if he decides to sack Silva following the West Ham game, fans aren’t made to wait and worry for an extended period of time.
