Everton’s technical director Marcel Brands has been in contact regarding a potential summer move for Yerry Mina, the defender’s representative has confirmed.

The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the Colombia international, who shone during his side’s World Cup campaign this summer.
Mina could not prevent his Colombia side from exiting the tournament at the round of 16 stage but was a standout performer. From central defence, he managed to score three goals, exemplifying his threat from set-pieces.
A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with moves for Mina, who looks set to depart Camp Nou this summer.
However, it seems Everton have been stepping up their pursuit of the centre-back in recent times, with agent Jair Mina confirming that contact has already been initiated.
I have had contact with the sporting director of Everton (Marcel Brands).
