Everton join chase for Swansea midfielder

Everton have joined the race to sign Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung.

Ki is out of contract with Swansea in the summer and is not expected to sign an extended deal with the Welsh club, despite them looking likely to retain their Premier League status.

Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol is now claiming that Everton have joined the list of clubs looking to sign him, with four other Premier League sides interested.

Italian giants AC Milan are also keen, providing stern competition for Everton if they make a mouth for the Swansea man.

Ki has been a consistent figure in the heart of the Swansea midfield this season, impressing those in power at Everton.

Sam Allardyce is expected to leave at the end of the season, which could delay a move for Ki as they weigh up their next boss.
