Everton are being linked with a surprise swoop for Watford striker Stefano Okaka.
According to a report from the Mirror last night, the Toffees are contemplating a late move for the Italian forward as they ramp up their chase for another attacker before the window slams shut tomorrow night.
Everton are yet to replace Romelu Lukaku and are growing progressively desperate to secure a new striker to add to their options. Wayne Rooney and Sandro Ramirez have already been signed, but Ronald Koeman is interested in adding yet more firepower to the ranks.

Okaka has only ever really been a sporadic feature in the Hornets’ team, but has started the season off in considerably impressive fashion.
The report claims that Koeman is a big admirer of the Watford man, having been especially impressed with his performance against Everton last season.
Everton will look to conclude at least one more deal before the deadline, it seems.
