Everton have reportedly joined the hunt for SL Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca.
According to a report from Turkish news outlet Fanatik, the Toffees are monitoring Talisca’s progress out on loan with Besiktas and are weighing up a move for him when the summer transfer window comes around.
The Brazilian has been impressive for Besiktas since signing for the Europa League outfit on a two-year loan deal back in the summer and this has led to speculation over a move away to the Premier League.
However, if Everton are to make a serious move for the midfielder, they must fend off competition from fellow Premier League competitors Manchester United, who are also keen to bring him to England.
The Express claim that Talisca has a £21 million release clause in his current contract at Benfica, which is a sum that may be affordable for Everton if they do choose to pounce.
