  • Everton plan to have another summer of heavy spending in summer window.
  • Season has highlighted the Toffees need more quality and depth in their squad.
  • Bosnia & Herzegovina international, Esmir Bajraktarevic is latest name linked.

Everton have kick-started their preparations for the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Toffees have already been linked with potential incomings as they look to build on their best season in recent years.

Additions will be needed in multiple areas and David Moyes will have to prioritise funds for specific positions.

The Blues are already blessed with talented wingers such as Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye, and they are reportedly pushing to add more quality on the flanks.

Everton have made an offer for Esmir Bajraktarevic

Everton have sent PSV Eindhoven an offer for winger Esmir Bajraktarevic, according to Bosnian sports outlet, Sport Sport.

Specifics about the offer are unknown, but the Toffees are awaiting a response from the Dutch side.

Although Bajraktarevic’s stats are not impressive on the surface, 25 out of his 36 appearances have come from the substitute bench, with PSV opting to use the winger as an impact player.

The 21-year-old has already made 14 senior appearances for Bosnia & Herzegovina, but he has also appeared once for his native country, the USA, before switching international allegiance.

Bajraktarevic gained national fame in March 2026, after scoring the winning penalty in his side’s penalty shootout against Italy, which sent them to this summer’s FIFA World Cup.

Esmir Bajraktarevic would be an ideal impact player for Everton

Should Moyes manage to hold onto Ndiaye and re-sign Grealish, then it is likely this duo will be Everton’s starting wingers for the 2026-27 season.

If Bajraktarevic makes the move to Hill Dickinson Stadium, then he will be recruited for the purpose of filling out depth in the Toffees’ squad.

Having been used as an impact player for PSV, the 21-year-old would be accustomed to this role and will understand that his purpose would be to inject life into games when Everton appears to be struggling.

If the Bosnia & Herzegovina international makes the switch to Merseyside, then he would join a squad that already has five traditional wingers – should the Blues re-sign Grealish and Tyrique George.

The potential addition of Bajraktarevic would likely mean the exit of at least one current Everton winger.

Who that could be remains to be seen, but signing a young talent such as Bajraktarevic would make a statement of intent from Moyes.
