According to a recent report from the Daily Mirror, Everton are interested in making a move for Leicester winger Demarai Gray this January.
It’s become apparent that The Toffees are going to need to strengthen their wide options when the winter transfer window rolls around after it was confirmed that Yannick Bolasie would miss the remainder of the season, and potentially the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign, through a serious knee ligament injury.
Gray has always been a promising player, showing his quality several times for Birmingham City in the Championship and displaying a lot of potential when featuring for the England Under-21’s.
However, he’s receiving limited game time at the King Power Stadium and a move away to Everton with what could be a guarantee of first-team football may be tempting.
Whether it be Gray or not, it’s sure that Ronald Koeman will be looking to bolster his attacking threat in January.
