Several Everton fans have reacted to the club’s latest tweet about ambition this season, ahead of tonight’s clash against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup.
Everton will face The Imps at Sincil Bank shortly, and Marco Silva has spoken about how Everton should show ambition to succeed in the tournament this season.
Last season Everton were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in the third round, losing to Southampton on penalties after beating Rotherham United in the second round.
This time, Silva is targeting more success, with Everton’s wait for silverware now reaching 25 years. Responding to Everton’s tweet about ambition, a number of fans indicated that the club should focus on the tournament and field a strong team tonight.
