Everton named as most likely destination for Barcelona star

Everton have been named as the most likely destination for Yerry Mina this summer, with the defender set to leave Barcelona.

Goal reports that a move to the Premier League is imminent, with Everton reportedly leading the race to sign the Colombian.

Interest in the defender has mounted after an impressive World Cup campaign with Colombia.

Mina had been expected to leave the Nou Camp this summer regardless after struggling since his move to the La Liga giants last season.

Everton have been linked with a move for some time, with a loan move initially discussed, but now a permanent transfer appears increasingly likely.

The Toffees are reportedly offering a fee in the region of £15 million to sign the player.

However, the Catalan side now pushing to include a buy-back clause in any deal to take the defender to Goodison Park.

Marco Silva has been keen to re-shape his defence this summer after Everton’s struggles at the back last season.
