Everton not losing sight of Steven N’Zonzi

According to Estadio Deporvito, Everton are not losing sight on Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi and are not scared to bid high for the Frenchman.

This was always going to be a big window for Everton and new manager Sam Allardyce, working with Ronald Koeman’s team, Allardyce has done okay as The Toffee’s boss, coming in and settling the ship, but results have dipped recently so Everton have to get this window perfect if they want to push on this season and in the future.

They have already brought in Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, who failed to do pretty much anything in Everton’s 4-0 defeat to Tottenham last weekend. However, since then, they have brought in Arsenal’s Theo Walcott, who could become a great provider for the new Turkish striker, so things are looking up on the blue side of Liverpool.

Despite splashing the cash already this January, Everton are prepared to spend even more for N’Zonzi, who is rated very highly in Seville, which is why his release clause is 40m euros, but Everton could bid less.

Although Everton have a number of midfielders already, the former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder will be a great addition at Goodison Park, proving great support for the defence, which is what Allardyce would love.
