Everton are ready and preparing to make an offer to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports.
Earlier this week it was reported that the Toffees had tested the waters over a possible transfer, with the Frenchman having been heavily touted to leave Turin in the not-so-distant future.
Rabiot only recently signed for Juventus after leaving Paris Saint-Germain on a free this summer, and the Italian side had looked to have landed an incredible coup on a free transfer.
However, the 24-year old has not been able to perform consistently for the Serie A champions, and now it is claimed that Juventus would consider his sale if their asking price is met.

Sport Mediaset (via Sport Witness) claim that Everton would be prepared to offer €25-30million for him this month, and that Juventus would “carefully evaluate” such an offer.
Juventus would make a huge profit on Rabiot, having signed him for nothing, while it was also allow them to raise funds to sign other players this month, with the Bianconeri closing in on the signing of Dejan Kulusevski.
However, Arsenal would join Everton in the race to sign Rabiot, with the report claiming that the Gunners would also be willing to offer a similar amount.

I can’t see a world where Everton can land a player of Rabiot’s ability and potential for such a low price if I’m honest, but then again, I have to keep reminding myself that until recently I couldn’t see a world where Everton were managed by Carlo Ancelotti.
Rabiot worked under the Italian at PSG, which could mean that the midfielder could be open to reigniting that working relationship. However, he has been called out for having attitude problems in the past, which might make Ancelotti more wary of splashing the cash.
Still, with Everton needing a midfielder, the club would find it hard to turn down a player of his standard for as little £21million. It could be tough to convince him, but then we’re going to be saying that about most transfer targets throughout the duration of the transfer window.
