Everton are preparing to pay Sam Allardyce out of his current contract to make a new appointment this summer.
The Mirror reports that Allardyce has one year remaining on his £6 million per year deal at Goodison Park, but he may not see it through.
Allardyce has managed to steady the ship at Goodison since replacing Ronald Koeman, but the former England boss has not been a hit with the fans.

Large sections of the Goodison Park faithful have criticised the manager for the club’s style of play.
Shakhtar Donetsk’s Paulo Fonseca and Marco Silva have been earmarked as potential successors.
Both managers were linked with the position when Koeman left the club last year but no deals were able to be completed at the time.
Allardyce himself is already being linked with his next move. West Brom are reportedly planning to pounce on the manager should he leave the club at the end of the season.
