Everton’s Head of Academy Recruitment Martin Waldron has left the club, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Waldron had been suspended by Everton following allegations of an illegal approach for a schoolboy player, which was being investigated by the Premier League.
This followed the Blues receiving a ban on signing Academy players for two years, as well as being handed a £500,000 fine after being found guilty of breaching recruitment rules.
After the Premier League’s investigation had concluded, Everton launched an investigation of their own in Waldron, uncovering six further breaches of transfer rules regarding schoolboys.
Now the Echo have confirmed that Waldron has left the club. He had worked for the club for almost 25 years.
