Everton scout Brahimi as they eye cut-price January deal

Everton reportedly sent scouts to watch Porto winger Yacine Brahimi in action on Monday night.

The Mirror claims that Everton had scouts watching the Algerian closely during Porto’s 3-1 win against Nacional.

The Toffees are hoping that the player could be available at a cut-price rate in January with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Brahimi has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, but no deal has ever materialised.

West Ham were keen to bring the player to England over the summer but were unable to convince Porto into selling.

At the time, it was reported that Brahimi was eager to hold out for one of the Premier League’s elite to come in for his services.

Rumours of a move to England are once again circulating, with the player yet to commit to a new contract at Porto.

Brahimi has been with Porto since 2014 but his time in Portugal looks like it could finally be coming to an end.
