Everton and Tottenham eye moves for Steven Bergwijn

Everton and Tottenham are two of the clubs keeping a close eye on PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, with a view to a summer transfer, as per a report from EPSN.

The 20-year-old has five goals and six assists in 22 league games so far this season and his performances in the Eredivisie are said to be attracting the interest of plenty of clubs around Europe.

According to the report, PSV are bracing themselves for summer bids for their Dutch U21 international, with the player expected to leave for a Premier League side.

Everton, if they do decide to pursue the player, will not have a clear run at him as Spurs, as well as a few other clubs, are expected to make bids for him too, so Steve Walsh might need to do some persuading if he wants to get him to put pen-to-paper on a contract.
