Everton v Brighton – Cuff’s XI

Following abject humiliation against Liverpool on Sunday, Carlo Ancelotti will demand nothing short of perfection against Brighton this weekend.

Many of Everton’s senior stars let themselves, the club and the fans down against Liverpool’s C-team in the FA Cup third round, and the Toffees absolutely need to put that right against the Seagulls on Saturday.

Following off the field antics from Fabian Delph in the week, as well as some choice words having been made about Ancelotti’s tactics by some of the senior players following the Liverpool loss, it will be interesting to see how the Italian elects to field his side.

Brighton have only won once in their last six Premier League fixtures, beating relegation threatened Bournemouth 2-0 before the New Year, which should hopefully give Everton confidence that they can get a result in front of the Goodison Park faithful.

Here’s who I’d like to see emerge from the tunnel against Graham Potter’s side:
