Following Alex’s temporary retirement from his duties here at Read Everton due to him having been beaten down by the club’s recent dismal performances, I have gladly taken the reigns for the Merseyside Derby.
I’m certainly not glad to see this fixture next up on the docket for the Blues though, as Everton are likely to be humiliated by their rivals, which could see Marco Silva lose his job too.
The Blues have several injury issues that have unfortunately forced their squad to bend and break out of shape, but Silva has been left in the dugout to once again try to find an ailment for the club’s key issues as the ship continues to sink.
Jurgen Klopp and his Reds will likely have every intention of laughing all the way from Melwood to the final whistle at Anfield on Wednesday, so Everton need to make it as horrible as possible in front of their supporters.
Will the Blues win? It isn’t likely, but nonetheless here is my line-up for the fixture.
