Everton v Southampton – My Everton XI

Two games to go.

Let’s be clear – two victories on the spin does not a successful manager make.

Everton followed up a win over Newcastle at Goodison Park with an away victory to Huddersfield Town, and while the game against the Magpies was absolutely awful on the eye, the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium actually saw some decent football on display.

Next up is Southampton, who are desperate for points at this late stage of the season, with the South Coast club currently occupying a position over the relegation trapdoor.

Having beaten local rivals Bournemouth in the New Forest Derby last week, the Saints will have momentum going into the game.

Without further ado, here is the team I’d lead with. Please do find me at @CuffWrites and let me know what you’d have gone with.
