Everton yet to bid again for Iwobi – Will they move for the Arsenal man?

Arsenal have yet to receive a follow-up bid from Everton for Alex Iwobi, reports Inside Futbol.

The Toffees had a £30million offer rejected by the Gunners yesterday, and various reports concluded that Everton would return with a second bid for the Nigeria international, with Marco Silva keen on bringing in the versatile forward.

However we have yet to see anything go ahead in negotiations, and with Iwobi not wanting to agitate for a move, Everton will need to get a move on if they want to land the 23-year old.

While I thought it was strange that Everton would be interested in Iwobi in the first place, it did seem like the club were keen yesterday and I was expecting to see much more interest today.

As it stands it does appear that Marcos Rojo could be Everton’s only signing today, which would be disappointing for fans who had raised their expectations. However, there are still three hours to go, so we’ll need to wait and see what happens.
