Everton youngster to turn down Premier League interest for Toffees stay

Young Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is happy to fight for his future at the club after heavy interest in him from Bournemouth, according to the Mirror.

The youngster saw regular opportunities at first when Sam Allardyce was appointed as manager, but once Cenk Tosun was signed for £27 million in the January window he was very much used as a fringe player.

Bournemouth are a club thought to be keen on signing the youngster given that their manager Eddie Howe is known for bringing through younger players in his sides.

The 21-year-old is keen to come back in for pre-season and hit the ground running in a bid to impress the new boss Marco Silva.

The report claims that Silva is keen to promote youth players in his side which will only boost Calvert Lewin’s first-team hopes.

The young forward signed for Everton back in 2016 and has impressed when he has been afforded the opportunity since the move from Sheffield United.
