Everton’s Antonee Robinson out for four weeks

Everton youngster Antonee Robinson has picked up an injury during international duty with the USA and will be out of action for at least four weeks, according to a report on BT Sport.

The full-back is currently on loan to Championship side Wigan Athletic and was in line to feature against England in the friendly at Wembley.

The American international is understood to have picked up an ankle problem whilst training for the upcoming fixture.

Robinson is highly rated by everyone at Everton and Marco Silva sent him on loan to Wigan to help with his development.

The 21-year-old has played 15 times for Wigan this season but will now be absent for a month.

Robinson has played six times for the USA and was hoping for the chance to prove himself at Wembley against Gareth Southgate’s side, but he will play no part in the match.
