Everton’s deal to sign Cenk Tosun from Besiktas is said to be hanging in the balance.
According to a report from the Mirror, the two clubs are struggling to agree a fee for the transfer, with Besiktas now stated to be demanding a sum more than the reported £25 million.
The report claims that Everton felt as though they had a deal with the Turkish club over the aforementioned figure but chiefs at Besiktas are now reportedly ready to ask for more if they are to part company with their star player.

Everton’s interest in Tosun has been well documented for a while now. Last week, the club’s director of football Steve Walsh flew out to Turkey to hold discussions over the deal, but it seems no significant breakthrough has been made yet.
Besiktas are now demanding over £27m for the player, as per the Mirror, and the Toffees are now skeptical over whether they will cough up the increased asking price this month.
