Everton’s top five league goalscorers graded

At the time of writing, Romelu Lukaku is on 59 premier league goals after his four-goal haul vs Bournemouth and is homing in on the record set by Duncan Ferguson, which he set in 2006.

Let’s face it, the record has been around for too long and the amount of goals that the big Scot scored for the club is even more embarrassing when you consider how long we have been in the Premier league.

The top five is a mishmash of great players and great stalwarts (and in some cases both), none of which would be frowned upon for being on the list.

In this piece, I will rate the top five players who have scored the most Premier League goals in an Everton shirt in accordance with my some of my own personal opinion.

Note – there was no room for Brett Angell, Ibrahima Bakayoko or the Brazilian Jo, maybe that’s another piece for the future.

Anyway, on to the players…
