Five things we learnt from Everton’s season

The season has now ended and it has been a tale of two halves for Everton.

After surprisingly spending the majority of the first half of the campaign down near the relegation zone, even falling to as low as 18th at one point, the Blues then climbed the table in the second half of the season and managed to end up in eighth place.

Ronald Koeman was replaced by Sam Allardyce, and he managed to transform Everton’s season, despite not having the full backing of the fans.

There have been new faces, old faces and numerous ups and downs for the Toffees this season. Some embarrassing performances, some brilliant performances and a Europa League campaign that they will want to forget.

These are five things that we have learnt from Everton’s rollercoaster ride of a season.
