Everton have made an improved offer in the region of €18-€22 million for Lucas Digne, but the player is said to be unsure about a move to Goodison Park.
Reports in France from RMC Sport claim that Barcelona would like to keep the player beyond the current transfer window.
The club hope that the player can stay to provide competition for Jordi Alba, but would not stand in his way if he did want to make the move away from the club.
Juventus are also believed to be in the running to sign Digne from Barcelona, as they go in search of a potential replacement for Alex Sandro.
Digne has bee heavily linked with a move to Everton, as the club prepares for life after Leighton Baines, with the defender in the latter stages of his career.
The defender is currently in the United States along with the rest of the Barcelona squad, despite the speculation about his future.
