Galatasaray want Niasse and Tosun

A Calcio Mercato report has claimed that Oumar Niasse and Cenk Tosun could be heading out the door in January, should Galatasaray get their way.

The Everton forwards have been identified by the Turkish giants as possible candidates to sign in the winter transfer window, should Everton boss Marco Silva deem them surplus to requirements.

Tosun has been fairly important to the plans of Silva thus far in the Premier League, appearing ten times – five as a starter, and five from the bench.

With two goals and two assists, it seems as though the Turk has a role at the club.

Niasse, however, is a different story.

The Senegalese striker has made four Premier League appearances as a substitute in this campaign, starting just the one game in the League Cup.

Speculation had been rife that the 28-year-old was set to leave in the summer, but Silva opted to hold onto the former Hull man.

Galatasaray’s pursuit of the pair may prove to come up short in both respects, but it might be worth keeping an eye on the movements of the Super Lig outfit.

matchday.
