Gana praises Everton performance - Fan Reactions

Several Everton fans have reacted to former club midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye’s latest tweet, congratulating the club after their win against Lincoln in the Carabao Cup.

The Toffees beat the Imps on Wednesday evening to progress into the competition’s third-round, with goals coming from Lucas Digne, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Alex Iwobi and Richarlison in the 4-2 victory.

Gana, who left the club this summer for Paris Saint-Germain in a £30million deal, took to Twitter to both congratulate Everton on their win and praise Digne on the fantastic free-kick he scored to equalise for the Blues.

Taking to Twitter, a number of fans reacted to the Senegal international’s post, with a vast number of fans missing the midfielder who was such a consistent rock for the club during his three years at Goodison Park.
