Everton youngster David Henen’s future has been clouded with uncertainty for some time now, and it looks as though he may be edging closer to a move to Standard Liege this summer.
According to a report from Belgian news source DH, Henen has met with Liege’s director over a potential move ahead of the upcoming transfer window and they are keen to bring the young forward back to his homeland.

It’s stated in the report that although contract negotiations haven’t quite hit the ground running with Henen at Goodison Park, he could still sign a new deal with the club.
Everton are claimed to be keen on Henen taking a year out on loan away from the club in order for him to gain some valuable first-team experience in the coming season.
Lille are also still being cited with interest in signing Henen, with Marcelo Bielsa potentially looking at attacking reinforcements upon his return to management.
