Hornby keen to go out on loan

Everton and Scotland Under-23s star Fraser Hornby is considering a move away from the club in the January trnsfer window, SB Nation reveals.

Hornby is keen to break into the Toffee’s senior side, however he recently said that he is happy to leave the club on loan to get regular game time beforehand.

Hopefully I can get a few appearances for the first team at Everton, if not then I’ll be happy to go out on loan somewhere.

Hornby’s comments came after he scored a hat-trick for Scotland in a UEFA Under-21 Euro 2019 Qualifier and two goals against the Netherlands this week.

Hornby has been shining for both Everton and Scotland’s youth sides recently, though remains tight-lipped on where his future may lie.

I’ve not really had a chat with anyone about my future at Everton, I’ve kept my head down and I’m taking each day as it comes and working hard.

Hornby’s current contract at Goodison Park runs until 2021 but is most likely to head out on loan before he becomes a regular for The Toffees.

matchday.
