Ian Holloway calls Jordan Pickford “unprofessional” after Darts video emerges

Former manager Ian Holloway has called Jordan Pickford “unprofessional” after a video of the Everton goalkeeper emerged on social media.

The video, taken at the World Darts Championships currently taking place at London’s Alexandra Palace, shows Pickford downing a pint just hours after keeping a clean sheet against Arsenal.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Holloway called the player’s conduct unprofessional, especially with a video of it emerging on social media.

The goalkeeper picked up a lot of praise on social media for the video, with many liking that the Everton man was able to be relatable.

It’s typical to see a pundit criticise a player like this, especially when a video or picture emerges.

However, Pickford is free to do what he wants in his own time, and it’s hardly like this is the worst possible thing he could be doing.

Yes, he has to be a role model to young kids, but downing one pint shouldn’t really create a storm.
