Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be interested in joining Everton, after his proposed move to Milan has seemingly fallen through, according to reports.
We’ve covered a number of reports in the last few days that have detailed Everton’s supposed interest in the Swedish striker, with Carlo Ancelotti said to be keen on bringing him to Goodison Park once he is announced as Everton manager.
However fresh reports now claim that Milan, who were also vying for Ibrahimovic’s attention, have bowed out of the race for his signature.

La Reppublica (via Daily Star) report that Ibrahimovic was left disappointed by the financial element of Milan’s offer to bring him back to the San Siro, subsequently seeing negotiations between himself and the club go cold.
Telegraph Sport then report that the 38-year old striker would now be keen on a reunion with Ancelotti at Goodison Park, with the Sweden international having previously worked under the Italian at Paris Saint-Germain.

So this is yet another story about Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and once again it could prove to be nothing more than paper talk, but where there is smoke there is usually fire.
So much has been made of this story at this point that it stands to reason that there is at least a small kernel of truth behind it, with Everton likely the party more keen given their offensive struggles this season.
If Zlatan is actually tempted by the idea of moving to Goodison Park, then now is the time for Marcel Brands and Farhad Moshiri to move in for the forward. Automatically his signing will be a huge signal of intent, as well as an indication over how influential Ancelotti can be as the club’s new long-term boss.
