Several Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest team news regarding Alex Iwobi’s potential involvement for Everton against Watford on Saturday.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Marco Silva confirmed that the Nigeria international could play against the Hornets, and that it is up to him over whether or not to start the former Gunner. Silva said:
Alex Iwobi is working hard and it’s up to me whether I put him in the squad for tomorrow.
Many Everton fans had been demanding on social media this week that Iwobi should start on Saturday, particularly after Everton’s opening performance in their Premier League draw against Crystal Palace lacked a sense of creativity.
Responding to Silva’s comments, several Arsenal supporters called on the Everton coach to make the right decision and start the 23-year old against Javi Gracia’s side.

Meanwhile a number of Everton fans echoed the same sentiment, hoping to see the club’s Deadline Day signing in action for the first time this weekend.
