Several Everton fans have taken to Twitter to praise Alex Iwobi after the summer signing scored his first goal of the season against Lincoln City on Wednesday night.
A deep cross from the right from Gylfi Sigurdsson found Cenk Tosun at the by-line, and the Turkish striker was able to head back across goal for the Nigeria international to nod home his first goal for the club, putting Everton 3-2 ahead of their opposition at the same time.
Everton would go on to win 4-2 against The Imps, putting their name in the hat for the next round of the Carabao Cup, where they will travel to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday.
Following the game, a number of Everton fans responded a video tweet of the goal from the club, with fans also praising Cenk Tosun for his efforts to assist the former Arsenal man.
