Alex Iwobi has begun his Everton career in fine form, scoring on both of his first two starts for the club.
With Marco Silva’s side having lacked depth in creativity in the opening few games of the season, Iwobi’s introduction has already gone some way in making the Everton side play more destructive football, with the club having scored seven goals in the two games the Nigerian has started.
Iwobi scored with his head against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup during midweek, giving Everton their lead for the second time in the match, taking the score to 3-2. He scored again with his head against Wolves, regaining the lead and taking the score to 2-1.
Several fans have now reacted positively and continue to react positively to the players start on Merseyside, such has he made an immediate impression this season.
