We’ve done it again. Bloody hell. 2-1 up going into the tie, scored an early goal to give us a 2 goal cushion and still manage to bottle it. It’s just not good enough.
Fernandinho’s strike took a massive deflection off Baines before finding the back of the net and De Bruyne’s goal should never have stood, but even still, we just were not good enough on the night. All we had to do was not lose and we couldn’t manage it.
