Mancini urges Kean to move to a club where he can play regularly

Italy manager Roberto Mancini wants Everton striker Moise Kean to move to a club where he gets regular playing time.

Kean will be looking to get into the senior Italy squad for the Euros next year and Mancini feels he needs to be playing more first.

The teenage striker was on target twice for his nation’s Under-21 side during a qualifier match against Armenia earlier this week. He’s been heavily linked with a move back to Italy, with AC Milan and AS Roma both keen on signing him.

As quoted on the Liverpool Echo, Mancini said:

I hope he finds a club that allows him to play regularly.

A lot will depend on what he does from now until May for the Euros.

Kean showed that if he is played centrally and provided with decent service, then he can be prolific.

Manager Marco Silva needs to trust him as a central striker soon and that’s when he will be at his best.

He’s still very young and selling him would be a big blow. He’s just low on confidence at the moment but once he gets going, he could prove to be unstoppable.
