Marco Silva has played down rumours linking him with a move from Watford to Everton following Ronald Koeman’s departure.
The Mirror report that Silva remains focused on his job at Watford, who have impressed in the early stages of this season.
The Portuguese manager saw his name linked with a host of jobs over the summer after coming so close to avoiding relegation with Hull last season.
Silva opted for Watford and the Hornets have impressed, sitting sixth in the table after nine games.
Watford have won four and drawn three out of their opening nine matches and appear to be the surprise package of the season already.
A host of names have already been linked with the vacant position at Goodison Park from Thomas Tuchel to David Moyes.
Former player David Unsworth has been put in charge on a temporary basis and oversaw the midweek defeat away to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
