Everton manager Marco Silva has issued a warning to Richarlison after he was dismissed for appearing to headbutt Adam Smith at the weekend.
TalkSPORT report that Silva has urged the summer signing to focus purely on his football and not get involved in other incidents on the pitch.
Many gawped at his £40m price tag, but the Brazilian has hit the ground running since moving to Merseyside from Watford during the transfer window.
The 21-year-old scored twice as the Toffees earned a point at Wolves on the opening weekend and notched again a week later at home to Southampton.
However, the winger was sent off against Bournemouth for his role in an off the ball incident with Adam Smith on Saturday, a match which Everton surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2.
On the incident and the player, Silva said:
Of course, he can’t react in that moment, even if somebody provokes or fouls him. It’s normal at this level, you have to play football, just play football, nothing more.
Do what is your job, where you are strong, do the things in normal life, and forget the other things. He’s a boy, he has to learn, it’s a daft moment for him and for us but he has to learn fast.
Should Richarlison’s ban not be appealed, the player will miss games against Rotherham in the Carabao Cup and league fixtures against Huddersfield and West Ham.
