Middlesbrough eye Yannick Bolasie as Traore replacement

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is reportedly a transfer target for Championship club Middlesbrough, with Crystal Palace also being linked with the player.

Sky Sports write that Boro boss Tony Pulis is keen on the wideman, but will have to pay £15m for his signature.

Boro, who kick-started their campaign with a 2-2 draw at Millwall on Saturday, look set to lose Adama Traore to Wolves in the coming days after the midlands club met his £18 million release clause.

Bolasie has struggled for game time since his £25 million switch to Merseyside two years ago, making just 30 Premier League appearances for the Toffees.

His absence has been mainly down to injury, with the Congolese international missing a just over a year of action due to a cruciate knee ligament injury.

New boss Marco Silva has signed Richarlison from former club Watford this summer, and the Toffees are also in advanced talks over the transfer of Bernard from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The additions mean Bolasie is likely to be out of favour this season and should be allowed to leave should a bid meeting his valuation be submitted.
