Everton fans will have to wait a little longer before they can see new signing Yerry Mina in action.
The Daily Mail reports that he will miss the game against Southampton this weekend after being ruled out with a foot injury, as confirmed by Marco Silva.
Fellow new signings Kurt Zouma and Bernard are set to feature, but Mina will be watching on from the sidelines.
It is yet to be seen how serious Mina’s injury is, but it is unclear he will be fit enough in time to feature against Bournemouth, in what will be Everton’s third Premier League game of the new season.
We will see who plays but I can tell you about Mina. He is not available. Zouma is available. It is between him and Holgate. Mina is recovering from a small problem in his foot. The medical staff will give you more updates. I hope I can give a positive update next week. We will see in the next few days.
Zouma is now being tipped to start against Southampton, coming in for the suspended Phil Jagielka, who was sent off against Wolves.
Lucas Digne will also be hoping to push for a start after coming off the bench against the Premier League new boys.
