Everton have confirmed that Kevin Mirallas has finally brought his tenure as an Everton player to an end, signing for Belgian top flight side Royal Antwerp on a permanent basis.
The 31-year old winger spent the past 18 months away from Goodison Park, undertaking a six-month loan with Olympiakos, followed be a season-long loan with Fiorentina during the previous campaign.
Once a mainstay in the Everton team, the Belgium international fell out of favour during the rocky 2017/18 season, and never looked like he would come close to finding his way back into the Everton first-team.

Marco Silva deemed him surplus to requirements once he was appointed Toffees manager last summer, and nothing has changed over the previous 12 months to force the Portuguese manager to change that situation.
Mirallas’ departure brings an end to his seven year stay on Merseyside, and many fans took to Twitter to both celebrate his exit and wish him well.

Super Kev scored some crackers for Everton back in the day, to be sure, and it’s a shame he wasn’t able to live up to the rest of his potential.
All the best to him now moving on to his new club.
