Nine centre-backs that Everton could sign in January

Everton have coped relatively well at the back this season, despite having just three senior central defenders to choose from.

Yerry Mina, Michael Keane and Mason Holgate have been the only senior options at Goodison Park during this campaign so far, with the Toffees having failed to replace Kurt Zouma in the summer.

Mina and Keane began the season as Marco Silva’s starting partnership, but in the last few months, Mina and Holgate have struck up a very compact and competent pairing. 

Now with Carlo Ancelotti at the helm on Merseyside, the Italian is sure to want to shore up his defensive unit and bring in reinforcements of his own ahead of the second half of the season, where Everton will look to claw their way back up the Premier League table.
