Everton have been linked with several managers since the departure of Ronald Koeman was confirmed on Monday.
The Toffees sacked the Dutchman following a terrible start to the season. Everton sit in 18th place on the Premier League table, and have endured a simply unacceptable group stage campaign in the Europa League so far.
Managers such as Sean Dyche and Carlo Ancelotti have been touted with the job, while Ryan Giggs has publicly expressed an interest in taking his first management job at Goodison Park.

However, according to BBC Sport, a new man is understood to be keen on becoming the Toffees’ boss – Phil Neville.
The ex-Everton full-back, too, has never been the manager of a senior team. He acted as an assistant manager to his brother, Gary Neville, at Valencia in what was a disastrous tenure at the club.
David Unsworth is currently in charge as the club’s caretaker boss, with Everton’s hierarchy on the lookout for a new, permanent boss.
