Sampdoria target loan move for Kean

Moise Kean has emerged as a target for Serie A outfit Sampdoria, according to reports.

With the Italian striker having struggled to settle at Goodison Park this season so far, there have been reports that a number of clubs are considering signing the 19-year old in January.

AC Milan, who wanted to sign the starlet before Everton landed him, are said to be keen on bringing Kean to the San Siro in January.

Meanwhile, new reports claims that Sampdoria are lining up a loan offer to give the Golden Boy nominee a temporary break from the Premier League.

This is according to Telenord (via Forza Italia Football), who don’t talk about whether Everton would actually consider letting their £27million summer signing leave in the winter.

The Blucerchiati would be willing to take the forward to the Marassi on a six-mont loan, with Kean certain to immediately improve Sampdoria’s struggling attack, who are currently Serie A’s worst having scored just seven goals in 12 games.

Again, I cannot see Everton allowing this to happen in January. Given Kean’s reputation and the investment in him, the club will surely have more patience in him, with the Italian needing time to bed into the speed of the Premier League.

The idea of letting him on loan reminders me of Sandro Ramirez’s situation, and how sour that turned after Everton gave up on him after just six months. Kean is a much bigger talent and a much larger investment than Sandro, but there are still concerns there if Everton don’t allow him time.

If Everton’s other forward’s were being consistent, Kean’s adjustment period wouldn’t be a problem, and that is what is frustrating. Everton are in desperate need of consistency in order to claw their way back into a respectable position in the table, and Kean just isn’t ready to give that right now.
