Sandro’s Sociedad injury far worse than first anticipated

The injury sustained by Everton forward Sandro Ramirez, while on loan at Real Sociedad, is believed to worse than what was first anticipated.

According to Diario Vasco, the player has suffered knee ligament damage and is now set for a spell on the sidelines.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Sandro was injured during a training session with the La Liga side, but the severity of the problem remained unclear so soon after the incident.

The report does not specify a time frame for a return for Sandro, or if he will look to undergo his rehabilitation in Spain or back at Everton.

The news comes as a huge blow for the striker, who would have been hoping to get his career back on track after struggling since his move to Everton back in 2017.

Sandro has since endured loan spells in Spain in a bid to recapture some of his better form.
