Marco Silva believes a ‘fantastic attitude’ will give Everton the best chance at besting Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
The Sky Blues play hosts to the Toffees tomorrow, and with Pep Guardiola’s side in the form they are in, it seems unlikely that Everton will be able to come away with three points.
However, Silva isn’t willing to roll over and accept the likely result, and he believes that an improved attitude will give the Blues the best opportunity to pull of a shock result against the Cityzens.
Speaking ahead of the game, exclusively to evertontv, Silva said:
Richarlison is improving every time; playing left-wing, as a striker, he is scoring goals – and goals are really important for all the strikers.
In my opinion we will play against the best Premier League team [in City]. High, high quality, with a lot of solutions in their style, in their game. With a very good manager.
If we have perfect organisation and a really fantastic attitude and tactical behaviour, we can compete with them.
We have to be almost perfect and challenge them and try to achieve a good result for us.
