Tweet highlights how poor Everton’s home form has been this season

This season hasn’t quite gone as well as many Blues fans would have hoped.

Carlo Ancelotti and his side had started the campaign well with 4 wins after the first 5 games.

As the campaign progressed, however, the Toffees failed to capitalise on their good form and find themselves currently in 8th place.

The Blues have two games left to try and secure European football and have a tough test ahead.

With a visit from Wolves and an away trip to Manchester City, it is all to play for.

A recent tweet from Sky Sports has also highlighted Everton’s poor home form this season…

This really doesn’t bode well for the club with their next test facing Wolves at Goodison.

It is incredible to think that only Sheffield United and Fulham have a worse record at home this season.

For the Toffees to have lost 9 games at Goodison so far this campaign is not acceptable.

There have been times this season where games have slipped away and the players have failed to hold a lead.

The club must turn this form around for the last home game of the season, with a win taking them closer to Europe.

It will be no doubt all to play for in the final game of the campaign against Manchester City.

The game will already prove a tough test, but the fact it is away is better given their evident record at home.
