Summer free agents who Everton should look to sign

Following a great upturn in form over the last few months, Everton have really closed the gap on the top six with only goal difference keeping them in seventh, one place behind Arsenal.

If the Toffees can keep up this run of form they should be able to secure a place in next season’s Europa League which will please the fans and give Everton greater manoeuvrability in the transfer market.

Ronald Koeman’s aim is spend the summer transfer budget building a squad capable of challenging for the top four next season.

While a lot of that is dependent on the futures of Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku, both of whom are tipped to leave Goodison Park in the summer, it’s not completely out of the realms of possibility, just look at Leicester last season.

We’ve picked out a number of players who become free agents in the summer that would considerably improve the squad.

matchday.
